Civilian 1-2 Day Critical Carbine Home Defense

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]TRIARC Systems Critical Home Defense Carbine is either a 1-2 day program is designed for responsible and vetted citizens to increase home readiness when faced with an immediate threat/s. Students will be challenged through a series of building blocks on understanding safe weapon handlings and movement under stress, fundamental carbine application, single person house movement and clearance procedures, laws and definition of immediate threats, confidence building movement and live fire. Attendees will leave with confident capabilities on home self-protection of themselves, their families, and ability to assert quick decision-making processes and threat reduction measures when faced with a home intruder/s.

  • Weapon Safety and Safe Handling Skills
  • Home Defense Considerations, Pistol Storage Locations, and Mindset: Proactive vs Reactive
  • Expeditionary Mindset and Family Protection Plan
  • Carbine Safe Loading, Unloading Procedures
  • Weapon Fundamental Application and Weapon Mechanical Skillset Development
  • Various Pistol Carry Configurations
  • Grouping Drills at Known Distances: Understanding Proper Sight Pictures and Holds, Trigger Manipulation, and Grip Management
  • Precision Shot Accuracy Drills Focused on Low Percentage Shots
  • Multi-round Accuracy and Recoil Management Drills
  • Moving and Shooting
  • Barrier / Deadspace / Cover Occupation and / or Clearance Methods: Hasty vs Deliberate
  • Target Transition / Multi-Threat Engagement Methods
  • Magazine Changes, Tac-Mag Reloads, and Threat Follow Through
  • Multi-Threat Engagements Methods and Stress Drills
  • Threshold Clearance and Threat Engagement Drills
  • Room and Hallways Clearance, Movement, and Threat Engagement Drills
  • Family Consolidation and Protection Drills
  • Contingency Considerations Post Immediate Threat Engagement in a Secured / Unsecured Home
  • Family Accountability Force Protection Measures
  • What to do with Law Enforcement / 911 Emergency Call Communication, Verbiage, and Safe Link-up with Arriving First Responders
  • Single Person House Live Fire Movement and Clearance Drills with Target Discrimination Scenarios

Round Count: 600 Pistol Rounds

Required Equipment:

  • Semi-Automatic Functioning Carbine
  • Clear Ballistic Wrap Around Eye Protection
  • Hearing Protection (Electronic Noise Cancelling Most Recommended)
  • Concealable, OTW, or Tac Holster (Must accommodate and fit for both Pistol and Tac-Light)
  • Carbine Magazine Carrier for Belt or Chest Rack System
  • 5 Functional Carbine Magazines
  • Extra Optic Batteries if Carbine Has Mounted Red Dot / Holographic Sight (Recommend as none will be provided)
  • Weapon Lubricant and Cleaning Kit
