The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Semi-Auto Rifle comes outfitted with a CNC-machined, 6061-T6 aluminum, Type-III hard coat anodized, free-floating handguard, featuring M-LOK® attachment slots. An uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail runs the entire length of the receiver and handguard. The 6-position buttstock and pistol grip are constructed of glass-filled polymer with Soft Touch overmolding. The mil-spec upper and lower receivers are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with Brown Cerakote® Finish; the lower receiver has a flared mag well and a QD swivel attachment point. The cold hammer-forged, chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel is chrome lined with a 1:7 rate-of-twist rifling, and has a heavy phosphate exterior coating. A2 Birdcage Flash Hider 1/2x28(5.56) The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Semi-Auto Rifle operates with a midlength, direct impingement gas system.

The TRIARC Easy Pin Gas Block’s design is specifically engineered to simplify the pinning process, which is traditionally one of the most difficult parts of an AR-15 or AR-10 barrels . The pre-cut hole means there is no wasted time by drilling through the gas block. This pre-cut hole is positioned low enough, so only the necessary amount of material from your barrel is removed to ensure a "bombproof" installation. Since there is less material to remove, pinning the barrel is easier to accomplish with a standard hand drill or drill press. We always recommend that a competent gunsmith do the installation. However, because of the gas block's design, it is much easier for the individual builder to accomplish the pinning of the gas block without catastrophic damage to the barrel or gas block.
